Chile Research Needs Workshop

The Chile Research Needs Workshop was sponsored at NSF and occurred at their headquarters on August 19, 2010. Its purpose was to justify and influence NSF research solicitation; learn about the latest findings and data sources; identify emerging research opportunities and data needs in physical sciences, engineering, and social sciences; identify inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary opportunities; explore opportunities for international collaboration; and provide a basis for a workshop summary report to NSF. You may download the complete report here: “The 27 February 2010 Central South Chile Earthquake: Emerging Research Needs and Opportunities”

The following are presentations given at the workshop.
